Instructor ‘infects’ 14 pupils with HIV/AIDS in Niger



A main college trainer, Alhaji Usman Galadima, of Central Major Faculty, Karabonde, Borgu native authorities of Niger state has been arrested for allegedly defiling 14 feminine pupils of the college. 

It was learnt that apart from defiling the pupils, Galadima was  additionally accused of  infecting them with the dreaded HIV/AIDS.

Galadima a Grade II trainer with the college has been reportedly arrested by the police and is dealing with interrogation on the SCID police headquarters, Minna. 

Niger state authorities has additionally constituted a committee to analyze the alleged defilement of the 14 pupils.

The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in Niger state, DSP Wasiu Abiodun confirmed the arrest of the accused trainer in Minna.   

He stated “the suspect is with the command over the allegations of sexual assault in his college.”

He added that the suspect initially disappeared, however was later arrested and transferred to Minna by the DPO of Borgu.

It was gathered the federal government probe committee is headed by the state Commissioner for Schooling, Hajiya Hanatu Jibrin Salihu. 

Different members of the committee embrace the Director, Baby Proper Safety Company, the state Commissioner for Girls Affairs,  the state Common Primary Schooling (SUBEB),  amongst others.
