Gombe: Yahaya urges stakeholders to help struggle on corruption

Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe state Tuesday known as on stakeholders, particularly spiritual and conventional establishments, civil servants, civil society teams and most people to help authorities’s effort in the direction of combating corruption and making certain accountability in governance.

The governor made the decision in his tackle on the 2-day retreat organised by Anti Corruption Academy of Nigeria (ACAN) for political appointees and profession civil servants in Gombe state.

Addressing contributors in the course of the retreat on “The Artwork and Follow of System Integrity and Worth Governance as a Panacea to Curbing Corruption,” the governor urged political appointees and civil servants to play efficient position in curbing corruption in Nigeria.

He mentioned: “The position of system integrity and worth governance is to curb corruption in Nigeria. This demonstrates our dedication to associate with related anticorruption companies as a way to strengthen the struggle in opposition to corruption and promote good governance.”

He counseled the administration and management of ACAN for organising the workshop in Gombe state.

Frowning on the harm attributable to corruption within the society, the governor acknowledged that, “We should kill corruption earlier than corruption kills Nigeria. Let me make it clear that I strongly share Mr. President’s imaginative and prescient on making a corruption-free Nigeria the place our sources are judiciously utilised for the good thing about all our individuals.”
